About

Hi, I'm Kali, a contemporary Noongar artist and designer.

I create nature inspired, aesthetic, thoughtful pieces for you, your home, and beyond for those who aren’t afraid of colour, texture, or even something a little quirky!

Here you will find that the dance between nature and art is harmonious, and that the transition between caring for the Earth and creating is seamless.

All handmade products are personally made by me - the majority of the fibres I use are hand spun and any sewing is done in my little home studio.
Unless otherwise stated, apparel contain my digital designs and printed at a studio on an as needed basis. Felt beanies and up-cycled or customised clothing are handmade in house.

Weaving, spinning, sewing and designing is an expression of my journey to connect to my culture and heritage. Fibre and textiles are featured throughout my designs and are often given a personal and contemporary flair.

Baskets and vessels are handwoven over many hours, using traditional techniques and reflect the colours and textures found on Noongar/Nyungar Boodja, and Country I visited in my youth.

All fibre pieces are unique, they have a kind of eclectic/boho/vintage/fantasy aesthetic and often depict a dreamy aesthetic or sights that I long to see in my older years.

Sewn hair accessories and bags are designed keeping fashion/fabric waste in mind, making use of remnant and discarded fabrics and materials, while maintaining comfort and ease of use.

For those who value sustainability, the majority of the materials I use are recycled and/or natural, for your peace of mind.

When purchasing brand new materials or using printing services, my focus is on sourcing from businesses who use fair trade practices and avoid forced labor.

I embrace the old-world way - rejecting mass consumerism and mass production.

I’m creating new designs all the time, so be sure to check in regularly.

I hope you find a little something just for you!

From my home to yours.
